I found something out today about Mercedes Benz servicing.
When pricing up a gearbox service kit, Mercedes only quoted me on 7 litres of oil which I thought was strange as I know for a fact it’s nearer 11 liters to replace all the fluid in the 7speed transmission.
If you were to have your gearbox oil changed with Mercedes they don’t drain the torque converter which holds approximately 4 litres of oil.
I was shocked as not draining the torque converter is only doing half the job. So much for getting what you pay for!
